The information below will help provide a clear understanding of terminology used in our marketing communications, as well as important information relating to our company policies for promotions, delivery, pricing and installation.

General Usage

Promotional Exclusions

Offers may be available to select customers only and may be valid for a limited time or while supplies last. Discounts based on list price at time of publication. Actual discounts may vary based on property-specific pricing. Delivery

• Free, Next-Day Delivery is available on most orders to most areas when items are purchased between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. ET Monday-Friday. Extended Inventory items, custom products, and items shipped outside the continental U.S. may have longer delivery times.
• Fast, Free Delivery is available within in two days on most hospitality orders to most areas when items are purchased between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. ET Monday-Friday.
• Same-Day Delivery is available in select markets on in-stock items purchased by 8 a.m. ET. Minimum order value of $250 required.

Please Note: If no one is available to accept an HD Supply delivery, you can authorize the driver to leave order(s) at your property. Just print the Unattended Delivery Form (PDF), sign it, and leave it at your main door.

In-Unit Appliance Delivery

• Free, In-Unit Delivery is available to properties in certain ZIP codes within 50 miles of a distribution center. (Click here for full eligibility details.) Service applies only to in-stock major appliances. Excludes compact appliances and disposers. HD Supply reserves the right to refuse service. Trip charges may apply if services are refused by the customer. Services may change without notice, and are subject to availability, site, and unit conditions. Some restrictions apply. Does not include installation. For installation, please contact your HD Supply representative and request a quote.
• Tiered In-Unit Delivery is available to properties in certain ZIP codes within 50 miles of a distribution center. (Click here for full eligibility details.) In-unit delivery pricing as follows: $50 for 1 unit; $100 for 2 units; $150 for 3 units; free on orders of 4 or more units. Service applies only to in-stock major appliances. Excludes compact appliances and disposers. HD Supply reserves the right to refuse service. Trip charges may apply if services are refused by the customer. Services may change without notice, and are subject to availability, site, and unit conditions. Some restrictions apply. Does not include installation. Pricing Subject To Change

Changes in market conditions, increases in delivery costs, and fluctuations in the commodity market may require us to adjust our prices on select items from time to time. In the event there is a price change, we will inform you of the adjusted price before you complete your order. Some products may only be eligible for tiered pricing regardless of contract pricing terms.

Public Sector Employees

Free Gift with Purchase and Buy One, Get One promotions are not available to public sector employees.

On-Demand Installation

Certain in-stock products, including water heaters and HVAC condensing units, may be eligible for installation within 48 hours when purchased by 2 p.m. ET. Service excludes weekends and holidays. Only available in select markets. Program subject to change.

Warranty Disclaimer/Limitation of Liability

HD Supply does not provide any warranty for the goods it supplies, but shall pass through any transferable manufacturer's standard warranties. HD Supply excludes and disclaims all other express and implied warranties, including, but not limited to, all implied warranties of merchantability fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, in no event, whether in contract, warranty, indemnity, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence), strict liability or otherwise, shall HD Supply or its affiliates be liable for (a) Any incidental, indirect, punitive, special, consequential, or similar damages, even if such damages were foreseeable or caused by HD Supply, (b) Any claim that properly is a claim against the manufacturer, or (c) Any amount exceeding the amount paid for goods that are subject of such claim(s). All claims must be brought within one year of accrual of cause of action.

Restocking & Cancellation Fees

Refused or cancelled Extended Inventory orders are subject to restocking fees and return freight charges. Cancellation fees may apply on quoted volume, customized, or noncatalog items.

MSDS/Safety Data Sheets

To help promote safety and comply with right-to-know legislation, manufacturers publish Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for some of the products we sell. MSDS are now being called Safety Data Sheets (SDS), according to the federal Hazard Communication Standard. You can find SDS on the item detail page on our website or you can call Customer Service at 1.800.431.3000 to request a copy. The packing list enclosed with your order will provide the most current advice on which products require SDS and how you can get the most current electronic copy for these products in compliance with OSHA Standard Numbers 1910.1200 and 1926.59, and OSHA interpretation letter dated December 30, 1997.

California Prop 65

Proposition 65, known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, aims to protect drinking water sources and California citizens from exposure to chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

Replacement Part Information

The term "replacement" is used for all items that are direct replacements for original equipment manufacturers' (OEM) products.

The replacement parts are not made by the original manufacturers but are instead replacement parts that are manufactured by other companies. The trademarks and/or trade names of the original equipment manufacturers are used only for identifying the original brand-name equipment.

Local Codes and Permission

Because of different local requirements, it is the responsibility of the customer to understand and comply with all local building codes before installing any item identified as meeting code. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain all necessary permissions for use of any logos, text, graphics, or images on custom products HD Supply produces. HD Supply reserves the right to reject any custom order at its discretion.

To remove your name from our catalog or promotional mailing lists or if you receive duplicate catalogs, please call Account Services at 1.800.798.8809 or email your request to [email protected].

In Case of Publication Errors

Our goal is to be error-free online and in our printed publications. If we discover any errors, we will inform you of the error before you complete your phone order and correct any online errors as soon as possible. Please reference our website for current products and pricing.

Hazardous material products, such as fire extinguishers, refrigerant, paint, and gas-powered motors, identified with the hazmat icon require special handling and may be subject to additional freight charges. Customers will be notified of any charges related to the delivery of hazmat products. All products listed as "Made in USA" met federal requirements upon publishing of our catalog and website but are subject to change.
