Complying with Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Rule

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires certification for anyone handling R-22, MO99, R-407C, R-134A, or R-410a refrigerants.

Before you can purchase R-22, MO99, R-407C, R-134A, or R-410a refrigerants from HD Supply, you will need to complete the Certification Request Form and fax it to us along with a clear copy of your EPA Section 608 Certification Card.

If you are not yet certified, federal law prohibits us from selling you R-22, MO99, R-407C, R-134A, and R-410a refrigerants. Technicians must pass an EPA-approved test to become certified. Once certified, Section 608 Technician Certification credentials do not expire.
