Simple system includes one motion sensor and one caregiver pager
Caregiver pager has audible alert and is small enough to be carried in pocket or clipped to belt
System alerts caregiver wearing pager of resident’s activities when resident interrupts motion sensor’s infrared field, as long as they are within 300' of each other
Motion sensor may be mounted next to bed to indicate when resident moves, or by doorway to indicate when resident is approaching
