NSPIRE (National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate), is the new health and safety inspection model for housing owned, insured, or subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This new initiative is designed to encourage public housing agencies and subsidized housing owners to constantly review the quality of their communities and reduce "just in time" inspection repairs.
HD Supply Facilities Maintenance can help you avoid point deductions and deficiency citations when preparing for REAC health and safety inspections. As your single-source supplier, we have a wide range of products to help ensure your residents live in housing that is safe, clean, and in good working order.
Our REAC Inspection Preparation Guide lists several common deficiency categories,** as well as product solutions to help you prepare for or respond to a physical assessment subsystems (PASS) inspection. Remember, a low or failing REAC score means additional inspections and the potential for reduced HUD funding, so order the products you need now and avoid inspection problems later.
